Best Walking Trails & Routes in Appleton-le-Moors

Parking on the street near the church is usually available and the church is open for visitors. The walk is good in wet conditions as it is mainly on quiet roads with only the mid section on moorland tracks where two streams have to be crossed on stepping stones. it is an easy 6 mile walk with good views all the way. There are no shops or tea rooms on route but there is a good pub in Appleton le moors which has a good food menu. Enjoy the walk
