Malvern College Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港墨爾文國際學校) is a British international school adopting the International Baccalaureate curriculum, with classes from Year 1 to Year 13, in Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. The school opened on 27 August 2018. It is an affiliate of Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, United Kingdom.

Norwegian International School (Chinese: 挪威國際學校) located in Hong Kong was established in 1984. Originally named The Norwegian School, its purpose was primarily to provide an education for the children of Norwegian missionaries. During this period of the school's history, Norwegian was the medium of instruction, with English lessons conducted by teachers of English.

The Old District Office North, or the Law Ting Pong Scout Centre, is a building located at 20 Wan Tau Kok Lane, Tai Po in the New Territories of Hong Kong, near the Old Tai Po Police Station.The building was the headquarter of the colonial District Office of the whole New Territories . Since the 1920s it only administrative the northern part of the New Territories , as the District Office South was established.

Tai Po New Town, or Tai Po Town, is a new town (satellite town) and non-administrative area in Tai Po District, in the New Territories, Hong Kong. The area is a planned town that surrounding the existing indigenous market towns Tai Po Hui (literally Tai Po Market, was known as Tai Wo Shi in the 1900s) and Tai Po Kau Hui (Tai Po Old Market), as well as east of the existing indigenous villages that located on the Lam Tsuen Valley as well as west of those villages in Ting Kok and Tai Mei Tuk and south of those villages in Nam Hang, Fung Yuen and Sha Lo Tung.

Tai Po Market (Chinese: 大埔墟; Cantonese Yale: Daaihbouhēui; pronounced: [tàːipōu.hɵ́y]) is a station on the East Rail line in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Located near Uptown Plaza, in Tai Po, the station has three tracks and four platforms. Platform 1 is for northbound trains to border crossing stations at Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau and platform 4 is for southbound trains to Hung Hom, Kowloon while platforms 2 and 3 use the same track and is reserved for peak hour traffic.

Science Park (Chinese: 科學園站) or Pak Shek Kok (Chinese: 白石角站) is a proposed MTR station which may be built in Pak Shek Kok, New Territories, Hong Kong. The station would be on the East Rail line between University and Tai Po Market stations, serving the Hong Kong Science Park. However, little is known about the status of the planning of this station.

Yuen Chau Tsai, was an island in Tolo Harbour, Hong Kong. It is now connected to land by a causeway after land reclamation. It is part of Tai Po New Town in the Tai Po District.The Tai Wong Yeh Temple and Island House are located in the area of the former island.

Tai Po Kau (Chinese: 大埔滘車站), also signed simply as Tai Po, was a railway station on the British section of the Kowloon–Canton Railway in Tai Po Kau, New Territories, Hong Kong. Its location next to Tai Po Hoi and a pier serving the northeast New Territories made Tai Po Kau a transport hub.The station had traditional Chinese architecture.

Tai Po River (Chinese: 大埔河; pinyin: Dapu He) is a river in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. It has many tributaries, with most coming from Yin Yim Teng, Grassy Hill, and Lead Mine Pass area. The tributaries gradually merge as Tai Po River, which parallels the Tolo Highway until Tai Po Market station, where it turns north to meet the Lam Tsuen River.
