Lubbock Lake Site, Buddy Holly Park is reclaimed park area from the historic May 11,1970 Tornado that took 26 lives and re-arranged the face of Lubbock, TX forever. There are several lakes with walking/running cement/sidewalk trails well kept by the City of Lubbock. Great for lone or family leisure. Yellowhouse Canyon starts at the intersection of Blackwater Draw and Yellowhouse Draw, which is the start of the Brazos River that runs all the way through Texas to the Gulf of Mexico. The most scenic section of Lubbock, Texas.
