There are several lakes with walking/running cement/sidewalk trails well kept by the City of Lubbock. Great for lone or family leisure. Yellowhouse Canyon starts at the intersection of Blackwater Draw and Yellowhouse Draw, which is the start of the Brazos River that runs all the way through Texas to the Gulf of Mexico.
