Holosiivskyi District (Ukrainian: Голосіївський район, translit.: Holosiivs’kyi raion) is an urban district of the city of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.Holosiivskyi District was created during changing of administrative divisions of the capital of Ukraine, which was conducted in September 2001, as per the decision of the Kiev City Council on January 1, 2001.

The Museum of Soviet occupation (Ukrainian: Музей радянської окупації, Muzei radianskoi okupatsii) in Kiev, Ukraine, is devoted to portraying the crimes of the Soviet regime in Ukraine from 1917 to 1991. It was established in November 2001 by the Vasyl Stus branch of Memorial Society as an exhibition "Not to be forgotten: The Chronicle of Communist inquisition." Between 2001 and 2007, the exposition grew into a full fledged museum.

Holosiivska (Ukrainian: Голосіївська) is the second station on the Kiev Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line's Holosiiv-Teremky extension. It opened on December 15, 2010. The station is situated in the Holosiiv Raion near the Holosiivska Square.The station was due to open late 2008, and that opening was later rescheduled by Metro authorities to March 2009.

Vasylkivska (Ukrainian: Васильківська) is station on Kiev Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line. It is named after the street which leads to Vasylkiv, south-west to capital Kiev. The station was opened on 15 December 2010.
