Kokura Course 4

Kokura Castle (小倉城, Kokura-jō) in Kitakyushu, Japan was built by Hosokawa Tadaoki in 1602. It was the property of the Ogasawara clan (from Harima) between 1632 and 1860. The castle burnt down from a fire in 1837, with parts of it rebuilt in 1839. The castle burnt down again in 1866 during the war between the Kokura and Chōshū clans.

Kokurakita-ku (小倉北区) is a ward of Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka, Japan. It is the north part of what used to be Kokura City before the merger of five cities to create the new city of Kitakyūshū in 1963. JR Kyūshū's Kokura Station is the main rail hub of Kitakyūshū, and the Sanyō Shinkansen stops there.It has a population of 184,545 persons as of the 2000 national census and an area of 39.27 km².

Heiwadōri Station (平和通駅, Heiwadōri-eki) is a Kitakyushu monorail station in Kokura Kita-ku, Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The station opened on 9 January 1985 as Kokura Station, and was renamed to the current name on 1 April 1998 when the monorail was extended 400 metres and connected to Kokura Station.

Tanga Station (旦過駅, Tanga-eki) is a Kitakyushu monorail station in Kokura Kita ward, Kitakyushu, Japan. The station opened on 9 January 1985.
