Toa Payoh Sensory Park

The Toa Payoh ritual murders took place in Singapore in 1981. On 25 January, the body of a nine-year-old girl was found in a bag next to the lift of a block of flats in the town of Toa Payoh, and two weeks later, a ten-year-old boy was found dead nearby. The children had been killed, purportedly as blood sacrifices to the Hindu goddess Kali.

Avondale Grammar School (AGS) was a co-educational, international school in Singapore located in Tanglin. AGS offers classes from Preschool to year 8 based on the Australian curriculum. It was acquired by Cognita Schools Group in July 2017 and closed at the end of the school year, in December 2017.

It is located near Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and Toa Payoh MRT station, beside HDB Hub and Orange Tee Building.

600 @ Toa Payoh, formerly Central Cinema (中央戏院) and Kong Chian Cinema (光前戏院), is a commercial building and a former cinema in Toa Payoh which was located near the Toa Payoh Public Library. The building currently houses a pool centre, amenities, eateries and a 24 hours McDonald's fast food restaurant.

The Toa Payoh Public Library (Chinese: 大巴窑图书馆), formerly Toa Payoh Community Library (Chinese: 大巴窑社区图书馆) and Toa Payoh Branch Library is an established library located in the Toa Payoh Town Centre, Singapore, opened on 7 February 1974. It consists of three floors and has a large floor area of approximately 4125 m².
