The Hong Kong Palace Museum is a planned museum exhibiting artifacts of Beijing's Palace Museum in Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). Construction is planned to begin in 2017, with the museum scheduled for completion by 2022.The decision to construct the museum, however, has generated much controversy and criticism from civil society, largely due to the Hong Kong government's failure to conduct a public consultation exercise beforehand.

Charming Garden (Chinese: 富榮花園) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, built on reclaimed land of the old Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter. It was jointly developed by Hong Kong Housing Authority and Chevalier Group. It comprises 18 blocks completed in 1998.

The Kowloon Southern link is a section of the MTR West Rail line, linking Nam Cheong station and East Tsim Sha Tsui station. The rail link is fully underground, lies along the south-west coastline of Kowloon Peninsula, east of rail tracks of the Tung Chung line and Airport Express. The Ibrahim Mosque (Chinese: 易卜拉欣清真寺) is a mosque in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong. It is the sixth and latest mosque built in Hong Kong. The mosque is managed by the United Welfare Union Hong Kong Limited.

The Western Harbour Crossing (abbreviation WHC, 西隧) is a dual 3-lane immersed tube tunnel in Hong Kong. It is the third road tunnel to cross Victoria Harbour, linking the newly reclaimed land in Yau Ma Tei on Kowloon West with Sai Ying Pun on Hong Kong Island. It was constructed by the Western Harbour Tunnel Company Limited (WHTCL) on a 30-year franchise (1993–2023) build-operate-transfer (BOT) model proposed by the Government.

The West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) is a development project that aims to form an international-grade arts and culture hub on an area of land in West Kowloon, Hong Kong that was originally reclaimed in the 1990s as part of the Airport Core Programme. Located at the wedge-shaped waterfront reclaimed land west of Yau Ma Tei, the district will feature a new museum of visual culture, numerous theatres, concert halls and other performance venues under the management of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, which is directly financed by the government with an upfront endowment of HK$21.6 billion for construction and operation.

West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade (traditional Chinese: 西九龍海濱長廊; simplified Chinese: 西九龙海滨长廊) is a promenade running alongside Victoria Harbour on reclamed land west of Kwun Chung on the Kowloon peninsula of Hong Kong. It opened to the public on 17 September 2005.The promenade starts at the junction of Nga Cheung Road (雅翔道) and Austin Road West, outside the toll gate leading to the Western Harbour Crossing.
