Lake of Tirana

The Grand Park of Tirana (Albanian: Parku i Madh i Tiranës), or the Park on the Artificial Lake, is a 289 hectare public park situated on the southern part of Tirana, Albania.The Park includes an artificial lake and many other landmarks such as the Saint Procopius Church, the Presidential Palace, and memorials to several Albanian personalities.

Tirana Zoo (Albanian: Kopshti Zoologjik i Tiranës) is the only one of its kind in Albania. Established in 1966, the zoo is concentrated in an area of 7 hectares in the southern part of the city, between the Grand Park and the Botanical Gardens.

University of New York Tirana (UNYT) is an accredited private higher education institution in Tirana, Albania. The Tirana Olympic Park is a multi-purpose arena in Tirana, Albania. The Government of Albania held a public tender for the construction of a sports hall in order to host games.The complex was inaugurated the 4 June 2017 with a basketball match between ex-players from the National Teams from Albania and Kosovo.

The Botanical Gardens of Tirana is a scenic botanical gardens complex located in southern Tirana, Albania. It is the only botanical gardens complex in Albania. Construction commenced in 1964, with the original site covering approximately 15 hectares. It was completed in 1971. It is situated towards the south of the city and is overlooked by the Tirana and Kruja mountains.
