Lake of Tirana

The Grand Park of Tirana (Albanian: Parku i Madh i Tiranës), or the Park on the Artificial Lake, is a 289 hectare public park situated on the southern part of Tirana, Albania.The Park includes an artificial lake and many other landmarks such as the Saint Procopius Church, the Presidential Palace, and memorials to several Albanian personalities.

Fortress of Justinian (Albanian: Kalaja e Justinianit) or simply known as Tirana Castle (Albanian: Kalaja e Tiranës) is a castle in Tirana, Albania. Its history dates back before 1300 and is a remnant from the Byzantine-era. The fortress is the place where the main east-west and north-south roads crossed, and formed the heart of Tirana.

The Kapllan Pasha Tomb (Albanian: Tyrbja e Kapllan Pashës) is a Muslim Türbe of Albania, located in the center of Tirana.It is a Cultural Monument of the first category and was so declared by the government of Albania in 1948. It was built in the early 19th century, with carved stones and has an octagonal shape.

The Parliament of Albania (Albanian: Kuvendi i Shqipërisë) or Kuvendi is the unicameral representative body of the citizens of the Republic of Albania; it is Albania's legislature. The Plaza Tirana is a luxury hotel in Tirana, Albania. It is located on 28 Nëntori Street, near the Skanderbeg Square. At 85 metres (279 ft) tall, it consists of 24 floors. The design comes from Belgian architectural firm 51N4E, and construction started on 14 January 2007.

Ish-Blloku (English: Ex-Block), commonly Blloku (English: Block), is an upmarket area in Tirana, Albania. It widely known as an entertainment destination with its boutiques, shops, restaurants, trendy bars, pubs, and cafes. The area is part of the neighbourhood of Tirana e Re in southwestern Tirana. During the peak summer months, its trendy bars transfer along the Albanian Riviera.

The Great Mosque of Tirana (Xhamia e Madhe e Tiranës) or Namazgâh Mosque (Xhamia e Namazgjasë) is a mosque which is currently being built in Tirana, Albania. When completed, it will be the largest mosque in the Balkans.

The Academy of Sciences of Albania (Albanian: Akademia e Shkencave e Shqipërisë), founded in 1972, is the most important scientific institution in Albania. In the 1980s, several research institutes begun at the University of Tirana were transferred to the Academy's jurisdiction. The institution includes the most distinguished scientists, also called "academics", that are involved in research centers and other organisms inside and outside Albania.

The National Museum of Fine Arts (Albanian: Galeria Kombëtare e Arteve) is a national art museum in Tirana, Albania under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture. This highly important art institution functions based on the 'Law of Museums' and the 'Law of Art and Culture' of the Albania.The beginnings of the institution can be traced back to the endeavors of a group of Albanian artists and the Arts Committee of 1946.

The Presidential Office (Albanian: Presidenca) houses the Office of the President of Albania and is the principal workplace of the President. It consists of the immediate staff of the president, as well as support staff reporting to the president. It is located in the capital city of Tirana.The Presidential Office Building was constructed at first to house the Embassy of the Soviet Union to the People's Republic of Albania, and served for that purpose until 1961, when the both countries ceased their diplomatic relations.
