Barrhead

Cardonald railway station is located in the Cardonald district of Glasgow, Scotland, also serving parts of the Drumoyne neighbourhood located on the opposite side of the M8 motorway which runs adjacent to the railway. The station is managed by Abellio ScotRail and is on the Inverclyde Line.

Craigton Cemetery is a cemetery in south-west Glasgow dating from the mid-19th century. It stands on Berryknowes Road. The cemetery has a Jewish section containing 230 graves. The cemetery also contains 251 commonwealth war graves from the First and Second World Wars.Partly due to the proximity to Ibrox Stadium the cemetery has strong links to Rangers Football Club.

The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) is a 1,677-bed acute hospital located in Shieldhall (Govan) in the south-west of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. The hospital is built on the site of the former Southern General Hospital and opened at the end of April 2015. The hospital comprises a newly built 1,109-bed adult hospital, a 256-bed children’s hospital and two major Emergency Departments, one for adults and one for children, in addition to buildings retained from the former hospital.

Shieldhall is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated directly south of the River Clyde and is part of the wider Govan area.

The Royal Hospital for Children is a 256-bed hospital specialising in paediatric healthcare for children and young people up to the age of their 16th birthday. The hospital is part of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and is built on the site of the former Southern General Hospital, in Govan and opened in June 2015.

The Southern General Hospital (SGH) was a large teaching hospital with an acute operational bed complement of approximately 900 beds. The hospital was located in Linthouse in the south west of Glasgow, Scotland. All facilities and services have been succeeded by the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital which was constructed on the site of the old hospital.

Hillington East railway station is located in the Hillington district of Glasgow, Scotland, also serving the eastern portion of the large Hillington industrial estate (which is part of the town of Renfrew) to the north. The station is managed by Abellio ScotRail and is on the Inverclyde Line.

St Anthony's Football Club is a Scottish non-league football club based in Cardonald, Glasgow. Nicknamed the Ants, they play at McKenna Park. They currently operate in the West Region (Central District Division Two) of the Scottish Junior Football Association and play in green and white hooped kits.
