The Belgian Quarter (German: Belgisches Viertel) is an inner city district of Cologne, Germany. The name is derived from street names in the vicinity, referring to Belgian provinces or cities. In the northern part of the Quarter, street names such as Goebenstraße, Werderstraße, Moltkestraße and Spichernstraße celebrate the leaders and victories of Prussia in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870–1871 which brought down the Second French Empire and led to the creation of a new German Empire.

The former collegiate church is dedicated to the twelve Apostles.

The company is presently best known for the Heliosturm, a lighthouse on the former site of the factory that was constructed for test and research purposes.

Rudolfplatz is an interchange station and hub on the Cologne Stadtbahn lines 1, 7, 12 and 15 in the Cologne district of Innenstadt. The station is located at Rudolfplatz, a major junction between the Cologne Ring and Aachener Straße.The station was opened in 1987 and is divided into an overground part for lines 1 and 7 and an underground part for lines 12 and 15.

Zündorf (German: Köln-Zündorf) is a suburb of Cologne, Germany and part of the district of Porz. Zündorf lies on the right bank of the river Rhine, between Langel and Porz. Zündorf has 12.229 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2008) and covers an area of 8,12 km². The former village grew from a small trading post with staple rights on the Rhine isle of Groov, which nowadays is a peninsula and popular as a local recreation area with numerous outdoor restaurants as well as a rowing and pedal boat rental station.

The Kölnischer Kunstverein is an art museum in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia state, Germany. It is named after the historical art society of the same name.The Kölnischer Kunstverein was a "Kunstverein" established in Cologne in 1839.In the 20th Century, the Kölnischer Kunstverein held exhibitions of works by Hans Arp in 1919, Paul Klee in 1932, and Fluxus artists in the 1970s.
