Aberdeen Waterfront Park

Aberdeen (listen) is an area and town on southwest Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District. While the name "Aberdeen" could be taken in a broad sense to encompass the areas of Aberdeen (town), Wong Chuk Hang, Ap Lei Chau, Tin Wan, Wah Kwai Estate and Wah Fu Estate, it is more often used to refer to the town only.

The Southern District (Chinese: 南區; Cantonese Yale: Nàahm kēui) is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island. It had a population of 290,240 in 2001, the fourth-lowest in Hong Kong.

Shek Pai Wan Estate (Chinese: 石排灣邨) is a public housing estate in Shek Pai Wan of Aberdeen, Hong Kong, on a hill to the east of the town centre. It comprises 7 residential blocks, a non-standard small household block, a primary school, a shopping centre and a bus terminus.

Shek Pai Wan or Aberdeen Bay is a bay between Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island and Ap Lei Chau (formerly Aberdeen Island). Its name was formerly romanized as Shekpywan. The bay is one of the traditional fishery ports because the hills on two sides forms a nature shelter. The whole bay is zoned as the Aberdeen West Typhoon Shelter.

Aberdeen Promenade (Chinese: 香港仔海濱公園) is a small urban waterfront park in Aberdeen, Hong Kong. It is located on the north shore of Shek Pai Wan across from Ap Lei Chau.

Southern District Council (Chinese: 南區區議會) is the district council for the Southern District in Hong Kong. It is one of 18 district council. Southern District currently consists of 17 members, of which the district is divided into 17 constituencies, electing a total of 17 members. The latest election was held on 22 November 2015.

Tin Wan (Chinese: 田灣) is an area at the south of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is at the west of Aberdeen and the east of Kellett Bay and Wah Fu Estate.There is a public housing estate in the area, Tin Wan Estate (田灣邨), also named from Tin Wan.
