Dunman High School (DHS) is a co-educational government autonomous secondary school located in Kallang, Singapore, offering the Integrated Programme and the Special Assistance Plan (SAP). It was originally located in West Kallang.Since adopting the Integrated Programme in 2007, it has produced three President's Scholars, and is one of the leading co-educational high schools in Singapore in terms of academic results.

Founders' Memorial MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast line in Marina East planning area, Singapore. Construction began in 2019, and the station is scheduled to open in tandem with the Founders' Memorial in 2027. The station will be located within the Bay East Garden of the Gardens by the Bay, next to the Founders' Memorial.

The Founders' Memorial is a planned memorial to the founders of Singapore, to be built within the Bay East Garden of the Gardens by the Bay.On 9 March 2020, a collaboration between Kengo Kuma (Japan) and K2LD Architects (Singapore) won the international architectural competition to design the memorial.

Fort Tanjong Katong, which stood from 1879 to 1901, was one of the oldest military forts built by the former British colonial government of Singapore. The fort gave its name to today's Fort Road, and it used to stand on the grounds of the present Katong Park. Fort Tanjong Katong, the only one of its kind on the eastern side of the island, was part of a series of defensive batteries and fortifications along the southern coast of Singapore, that defended the eastern approaches to the Singapore Harbour and Singapore Town against seaborne attacks.

Big Splash was a former waterpark located at East Coast Park in Singapore that operated between 1977 and 2006. It was later redeveloped into a dining and recreation area named Playground @ Big Splash, which opened in 2008. The site was demolished in 2017.

Katong Park is neighborhood park located in Katong, Singapore at the junction of Meyer Road and Fort Road. Built in the 1930s above the buried remains of Fort Tanjong Katong, it was one of Singapore’s oldest parks with the first public bathing pagar (sea swimming enclosure) and was highly popular with families during the weekends.

Tanjong Rhu MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast line in Kallang, Singapore. The station will be situated at the traffic junction of Tanjong Rhu Road and Tanjong Rhu Place, near the condominiums such Pebble Bay and Casuarina Cove. It also provides access to the Singapore Sports Hub via the Tanjong Rhu Suspension Bridge.

Katong Park MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast line situated at the boundary of the planning areas of Kallang and Marine Parade, Singapore.The station is located underneath the junction of Fort Road, Tanjong Rhu Road and Meyer Road and will serve the Katong Park.

Tanjong Katong MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Marine Parade, Singapore.The station will be built underneath the intersection of Tanjong Katong Road South and Amber Road.

Parkway Parade is a suburban shopping centre in Marine Parade, Singapore. Officially opened in March 1984, it has a 17-floor office tower and a seven-storey shopping mall with a basement. Developed by Parkway Holdings, the company sold the building to Asia Pacific Investment Company in 2000. The mall is managed by Lendlease.
