Hastings River (Birpai: Doongang), an open and trained intermediate wave dominated barrier estuary, is located in the Northern Tablelands and Mid North Coast districts of New South Wales, Australia.

Overseers' Cottages Remains is a heritage-listed archaeological site, now incorporated into the Glasshouse entertainment centre, at 30-44 Clarence Street, Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, New South Wales, Australia. It is the remains of cottages for convict overseers', built from 1823 to 1830 by convict labour.

Old Port Macquarie Courthouse is a heritage-listed former courthouse and now justice museum at Clarence Street (cnr), Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by James Barnet and built in 1869 by Butler and Bourne. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Hastings Historical Society Museum is a heritage-listed former retail store and now museum at 22 Clarence Street, Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1835 to 1840 by William Stokes. It is also known as Port Macquarie Historical Society Museum and Port Macquarie Museum.

Oxley Oval is an Australian cricket ground situated in Port Macquarie, New South Wales which hosted a 1979 World Series Cricket (WSC) match between the WSC West Indian XI and WSC World XI sides. The match, which began on January 2, saw a seven-wicket West Indian victory thanks largely to four wickets by Wayne Daniel and a score of 83 by Viv Richards.

The site was chosen by Captain Allman, and it was in use from 1822 to 1824. It is also known as Allman Hill Burying Ground, Port Macquarie Burying Ground and Old Port Macquarie Cemetery.

Port Macquarie Government House Site is a heritage-listed archaeological site at 2 Clarence Street, Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1824 to 1826 by convict labour. The property is owned by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 3 August 2001.

The Sea Acres National Park is a national park that is located in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 76-hectare (190-acre) park is situated near the town of Port Macquarie. The park is a popular tourist area with a 1.3-kilometre (0.81 mi) long boardwalk through a remnant of seaside rainforest.

The Port Macquarie Campus of Hastings Secondary College is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school campus, located in Port Macquarie in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia.Established in 1962 as Port Macquarie High School, the campus enrolled approximately 635 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom 14 percent identified as Indigenous Australians and nine percent were from a language background other than English.
