Sha Tin College (Chinese: 沙田學院, Abbreviated: STC) is a co-educational international secondary school in Hong Kong and a member of the English Schools Foundation.Established in 1982 as the Shatin Annexe based in the campus of KGV School in Kowloon Tong, the school relocated to 3 Lai Wo Lane, Fo Tan in 1985, adopting its present name.

Fo Tan (Chinese: 火炭) is an area of Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. It was developed as a light industrial area, but this activity has declined markedly in recent years. There are residential areas to the east, alongside the MTR line, and in the foothills to the west.

Jockey Club Ti-I College (TIC or JCTIC, Chinese: 賽馬會體藝中學, Demonym: Ti-Ian) is a secondary school in Fo Tan, Hong Kong. The setting up of Ti-I College ('Ti-I' pronounced as 'tee yee'), which is not only focused on normal academic curriculum, but also aimed to develop students' potential of visual arts and sports, was proposed by Sir Edward Youde, the late governor of Hong Kong.

Fo Tan (Chinese: 火炭; Cantonese Yale: Fó taan) is a station on the East Rail Line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is located in the Fo Tan area of Sha Tin District, between Sha Tin and University stations on the East Rail Line's main branch. The Racecourse station is located parallel to Fo Tan, on the line's Racecourse branch.

Sha Tin Junior School (Chinese: 沙田小學) is a primary school run by the English Schools Foundation in Fo Tan, Sha Tin, Hong Kong.The school opened in 1988, and the founding principal Gordon Lewis remained in this post until his retirement in 2004. He was subsequently awarded an OBE in recognition of his services to education in Hong Kong.

Needle Hill or Cham Shan (Chinese: 針山) is a mountain in New Territories, Hong Kong. It has an altitude of 532 m. This is a part of a popular hiking route including Grassy Hill and Tai Mo Shan. The mountain got its name due to the resemblance of a needle by its peak.

Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Shatin) is one of the secondary schools in Shatin District of Hong Kong.

Wo Liu Hang (Chinese: 禾寮坑) is a place in Fo Tan, Hong Kong. The place was formerly a small plain at the shore of Sha Tin Hoi. The plain to the south has been transformed into an industrial area and a village has been erected in the hilly north. On the reclaimed land nearby, MTR Fo Tan Station has been built, along with the Ho Tung Lau Depot of the network.

Fo Tan Nullah (Chinese: 火炭渠) is one of the nullahs of Shing Mun River in Fo Tan, Hong Kong.

Sui Wo Court (Chinese: 穗禾苑) is one of the first estates under Home Ownership Scheme. It is located in Fo Tan, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.Built in 1980, it is located on a mountain above Wo Che and east of central Fo Tan, northwest of Sha Tin. The court was designed by Palmer and Turner and received a Silver Medal at the 1981 Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards.
