Curtin Singapore (a trademark of Curtin University) is a campus of Australia's Curtin University. Curtin Singapore is an Australian-based university that provides local and international students with the opportunity to receive an Australian university education in Singapore. In Australia, Curtin is the largest university in Western Australia with over 56,000 students (as of 2017) across all campus locations including Perth, Margaret River, Kalgoorlie, Malaysia, Dubai, Mauritius and Singapore Curtin University is a member of Australian Technology Network (ATN).

Whampoa is a housing estate located in the subzone of Balestier, which is a part of Novena planning area in Singapore, as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. Within the context of the Housing and Development Board (HDB), however, Whampoa forms part of the Kallang/Whampoa New Town, together with the various housing precincts located in the adjacent Kallang planning area.

Whampoa Single Member Constituency (Simplified Chinese: 黄埔单选区;Traditional Chinese: 黃埔單選區) was a Single Member Constituency located in the eastern region of Singapore. The ward covers the main area of Whampoa. This ward has been carved out from the Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency during the 2011 General Election.
