The Atomic Energy Council (AEC; Chinese: 行政院原子能委員會; pinyin: Xíngzhèng Yuàn Yuánzǐnéng Wěiyuánhuì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Hêng-chèng Īⁿ Goân-chú-lêng Úi-oân-hōe) is an independent government agency of the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China (Taiwan) which is responsible for atomic safety, development and regulations.

Liugongzun (Chinese: 瑠公圳; pinyin: Liúgōngjùn; Wade–Giles: Liu2-kung1-tsun4) is the name of a system of canals and irrigation ditches that once crisscrossed the city of Taipei, Taiwan. Most of the canals were covered over by roads and streets in the 1970s due to increasing volumes of traffic and diminishing necessity of water transportation and irrigation.
