Litoral de Nea Makri (Santuário dos Deuses Egípcios)

Spectacular beach route, run/walk next to the sea the whole route. Pass by the scenic beaches, tavernas, the small port of Nea Makri, seagulls and albatross, palm and pine trees, beach bars, waves smashing into the boardwalk (if you get lucky), and much more. At the halfway mark, you can see a small church and the sanctuary of the Egyptian Gods archaeological site. Recommended for sunrise, as the morning sun wile sidelight your run with a beautiful warm morning glow.
