Take the Southport Ferry as a pedestrian (cost $1.00). Hike from Ft. Fisher Ferry Terminal to the Ft. Fisher Recreational Area. Hike the beach to Bald Head and across Bald Head to the Ferry Terminal. $11.50 one way back to Southport and walk back to your vehicle at the Ferry Terminal. This route is best during low tides.
