Very scenic and a great space to sort thoughts. It does go through a restricted area, but it specifies no hunting, camping, cars, swimming, etc,. but it doesn’t say no running/jogging and there is a small gate that allows a pedestrian through! Most of the path is gravel. Emphasis on no shade, please use sunblock and protective gear if running during the day hours and reflective gear if running during dusk/night hours.
