Dollis Valley Greenwalk

Starting just across the road from High Barnet underground station on the A1000 turn right into Fairfield Way and continue into Grasvenor Avenue to enter Barnet Playing Fields and onto the Dollis Valley Greenwalk that follows the route of Dollis Brook as it meanders through north London. Walk on to Brook Farm Open Space towards Totteridge and Whetstone underground station and cross the main to walk through Whetstone Stray, across Laurel View, past Old Finchleians Memorial Ground to continue on Riverside Walk past Finchley Lawn Tennis Club, the big pond in the Park and under the Dollis Brook Viaduct. Continue on to Windsor Open Space. Shortly after passing under the A1 leave Dollis Brook and go left to follow Mutton Brook towards the High Road A1000 signposted Greenwalk route where there are bus routes going all over London. The route is a peaceful wooded walk by the Brook that takes one away from the busy, noisy city. It can be joined at many points along the route and continues much further than where this route ends.
