begin in the marathon park lot, follow the trail around Capitol Lake for a mile then turn around. most of your route will hug the shoreline with many birds and the occasional sighting of otter or nutria. Drinking fountains for both humans and dogs, restrooms and potty bags for dogs. Idyllic.
