This is my route for getting my steps in while grabbing lunch on the way at Arizmendi on lakeshore and doing some light grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s. You can always increase the miles of this route by walking Lake Merritt in its entirety. It’s about a 3 mile loop. You can usually always fine a nice shaded spot at the lake to enjoy lunch and the beautiful Bay Area weather.
