This part of the Rocky Mountain National Park is awe-inspiring with its lakes starting with Bear Lake and then ending at Emerald Lake.
The trail is very well maintained and lined with beautiful Colorado wildflowers, ferns, moss covered boulders and of course those quaking aspen trees.
There is so much to see. I would suggest that you give yourself plenty of time, bring plenty of snacks, water, and or a lunch.
