Rainy days can leave parts of Old Kilbuck segment muddy so trail shoes are recommended. Trail heads are well-marked and trails are mostly well-kept but there are few, if any, trail blazes to be find and many of these trails have multiple switchbacks and side outs but common sense will keep you on track.
