Weequahic湖

Weequahic Park is a park located in the south ward of Newark, New Jersey. Designed by the Olmsted Brothers firm, (who also designed Newark's Branch Brook Park). Weequahic Park has the largest lake in Essex County. The park is 311.33 acres including an 80-acre lake.The East Coast Greenway runs through the park.

Dayton is a neighborhood within the city of Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, United States. It is part of the city's south ward and was named after Jonathan Dayton. The area is bounded on the north by Peddie Street (Thomas Baldwin Peddie), on the east by Newark Liberty International Airport, on the south by Elizabeth and on the west by Elizabeth Avenue.

The White Chemical Corporation Superfund site is 4.4 acres of contaminated industrial land in Newark, New Jersey, about a half mile away from Newark Airport. The Newark site operated from 1983 to July 1990, selling small amounts of chemicals. Some of the chemicals sold there were Trichloroethylene and 1-2-Dichloroethane.
