The design for this greenway began in 2010 and now the trail spans more than 2 miles. The portion opened today began construction in April 2019 and features a boardwalk crossing wetlands that connects Old Honeycutt Road Park to the South Lakes subdivision and includes connectivity to Williow Springs High School and South Lakes Elementary School.
You can access the trail at the back of Old Honeycutt Road Park on the walking trail or on the trailhead at the parking lot on Hwy. 55 near the John Deere plant.
