Trail starts at 12,000 ft elevation. Gradually gradient increases. University of California setup a research facility. Once you pass that gradient increases. Finally you will see White mountain which has 20 to 30 switchbacks. You will also need to acclimate altitude. Go with fully prepared for this hike as you reach the summit peak it’s 14,252 ft elevation.
