A lovely quiet walk starting outside the school on Hay Street and past the four almshouses on the left. After 500 metres, turn right down Bogs Gap Lane & follow down Brook End and onto Cheney Lane. Cutting through onto public footpath on your left, you walk across the fields then out onto Church Farm Lane. This takes you back into the village via Station Road/Hay Street. It’s around 2 miles / 40mins at a brisk pace, but if taking it easy there are a few benches & stiles along the way where you can sit.
