Llechog is a top of Garnedd Ugain on the Snowdon massif in Wales. It is the top of a long crest of cliffs that start in Llanberis and finishes on Garnedd Ugain. The nearby Clogwyn Station is a stop of the Snowdon mountain railway. The summit is a rocky peak sitting out from cliffs which fall steeply down to the Nant Peris valley.

Llanberis (Welsh pronunciation: [ɬanˈbɛris]) is a village, community and electoral ward in Gwynedd, northwest Wales, on the southern bank of the lake Llyn Padarn and at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. It is a centre for outdoor activities in Snowdonia, including walking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking and pony trekking, as well as water sports such as scuba diving.

Clogwyn Du'r Arddu (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈklɔɡwɨ̞n ˈdɨːr ˈarðɨ̞]), on the north flank of Snowdon, is considered by many to be one of the best climbing cliffs in Britain. It is north-facing and comparatively remote (700 m (2,300 ft) above sea level). It lends its name to Clogwyn station on the Snowdon Mountain Railway which overlooks it.

The Paddy Buckley Round, also known as "Welsh Classical Round", is a long distance fell running challenge in Snowdonia, Wales. The route is a circuit of just over 100 km long taking in some 47 summits. The Round has the reputation of being somewhat tougher to complete than its English Lake District equivalent, the Bob Graham Round.

Pete's Eats is a cafe in Llanberis, North Wales, popular amongst walkers and climbers in the Snowdonia region of mountains. Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon, is one of the traditional starting points for climbs in the Snowdonia National Park. The Cafe has long been an important centre for climbers, described as "one of the most famous mountaineering hangouts in Britain".

Clogwyn is an intermediate station on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. It is located on an exposed ridge overlooking the Llanberis Pass and Clogwyn Du'r Arddu cliffs, a popular climbing spot.The line starts in the valley bottom at Llanberis at an altitude of 353 ft (108 m), Clogwyn station stands at 2,556 ft (779 m).

The Afon Colwyn (English: River Colwyn) is a small river in Gwynedd, north-west Wales, a tributary of the Afon Glaslyn.It has its source on the south-western flank of Snowdon. It first flows west to cross the A4085 Caernarfon to Beddgelert road at Pont Cae'r Gors just south of Rhyd Ddu, then flows south parallel to the A4085 to Beddgelert.

Halfway railway station is an intermediate stop on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, halfway along the line and close to the 'Halfway House' cafe on the nearby footpath. A short distance above the station is a path that leads down to the cafe.The line starts in the valley bottom at Llanberis at an altitude of 353 ft (108 m), Halfway station stands at 1,641 ft (500 m).

The Snowdon Mountain Railway (SMR; Welsh: Rheilffordd yr Wyddfa) is a narrow gauge rack and pinion mountain railway in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It is a tourist railway that travels for 4.7 miles (7.6 km) from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales.The SMR is the only public rack and pinion railway in the United Kingdom, and after more than 100 years of operation it remains a popular tourist attraction, carrying more than 140,000 passengers annually.
