The University of Zambia (UNZA) is a public university located in Lusaka, Zambia. It is Zambia's largest learning institution. The university was established in 1965 and officially opened to the public on 12 July 1966. It is the oldest public university in Zambia. The language of instruction is English.

University of Lusaka (UNILUS) is a private university founded in 2007 in Lusaka, Zambia. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Kalingalinga is a low-income, high-density settlement east of Lusaka, in Zambia. As of 2013, it comprised 25,000 to 30,000 residents; a very poor area, it borders the wealthier townships of Mtendere and Kabulonga, and many of its occupants are poor people who were discouraged from settling in Lusaka and moved as squatters to outlying regions of the city.

Sunset Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lusaka, Zambia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home for Zanaco FC. The stadium holds about 5,100 people.
