Best Walking Trails & Routes in Mesquite Oasis

This is a desert trail. Water is not available take some with you. The trail is a mixture of hard and. loose sand. Off road vehicles use trails also. I recommend starting the trail in the morning before 10AM. It gets hot event in the winter in the afternoon and evening. Wear hiking boots and loose clothing. Look for wild life. We've seen a number of species (Big Horn Sheep, Bobcats, snakes, lizards, coyotes, jack rabbits, Mountain Lion tracks but no mountain lion yet).
