Best Walking Trails & Routes in Olsberg

This is a small easy hike starts near Hofgutweid and ends on Hauptstrasse Magden. At the beginning the trail is pebbly rocky road but almost flat and easy to walk. On one side the Rheinfeldenberg forest can be seen. A picnic area is present near the forest. After 1 kilometer the trail becomes a paved road which leads to a main road after 2 kilometers. Along the path on both sides farms with horses and corn fields can be seen. There is a bus stop as you enter the Olsbergerstrasse main road. After 2.5kilometers the trail continues to a paved pedestrian road and it goes downhill. The view of the valley is amazing and the full view of beautiful Magden town is a wonderful experience. As you reach the end of the trail a small stream also can be seen from the road. The trail ends on the main road and it is a bit noisy because of the vehicle passing. But first 3 kilometer is calm quiet and breathtakingly beautiful.

The trail starts from the forest area near Challerenweg and leads to Challereweg. After walking a while the trail turns right to Challerehangweg after a small pond. The trail becomes uphill and is a bit steep, muddy and pebbly. After 1 kilometer the trail turns left to Chilchweg and around 2 kilometers turns right to Talhofweg. The path goes through Forest area which extends till 3kilometrs and then the trail runs through valleys with amazing view on one side and forest on the other side. After 4 kilometrs the forest area ends and the path leads to Kaiseraugst. The view of forest and Valleys in Autumn weather is stunning and coulourful. There are areas to sit throughout the trail. Many wooden sculptures can be seen on either side of the trail.
