The Cuillin is a range of rocky mountains in the Isle of Skye.The scenic beauty of the Cuillin led to be recognizable as a national scenic area. The main Cuillin ridge is also known as the Black Cuillin which is to be distinguished from the Red Cuillin which is to the east of Glen Sligachan where this trail is.
There Is a viewing area stop along Highway A87 )itβs after Sligachan Hotel Rd). A small public parking area is available by the road. This spot offers a spectacular view of the Cuillin Range.
Start from the parking area on to the Sligachan River (under the bridge ) which is both beautiful and if you believe the tales contains the fountain of youth. Walk on the mountain areas view points above the bridge and enjoy that spectacular view as you walk .. An amazing trail you must stop and experience.
