Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve

This is a wonderful place to bring children / youth and adults to learn about Florida's natural ecosystems and Birds, Plants, reptiles and animals that live in them. During different times of the year you can spot wild hogs, alligators, Bobcats, Panthers, skunks, beavers, otters and much much more. There is a awesome Boardwalk that goes all the way around with different Pavilions to stop in the shade and observe nature in all its Glory!! There is a small price to park and also a museum that you can tour as well as take tours with Park officials explaining the different ecosystems of the park. There are drinking fountains, picnic area, and public restrooms on site.
