The province of A Coruña (Galician: [ɐ koˈɾuɲɐ]; Spanish: La Coruña [la koˈɾuɲa]; historical English: Corunna) is the most North-western Atlantic-facing province of Spain, and one of the four provinces which constitute the autonomous community of Galicia. It advocates wildlife preservation, particularly the sea ecosystem and sea life. Founded by the City of A Coruña, it was inaugurated on June 5, 1999.
