Warrigal rd

Oakleigh railway station is a railway station on the Gippsland line in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern suburbs of Oakleigh and Hughesdale, opening on 8 October 1877.Today, the station is served by commuter rail services between the city and Pakenham, Cranbourne. Trains will bypass Flinders Street and the City Loop and go to West Footscray and Sunbury after the Metro Tunnel opens in 2025.

Sacred Heart Girls' College (SHGC) is an Independent, Catholic Day school for girls from years 7 to 12 located in the Melbourne south-eastern suburb of Oakleigh. It was opened in 1957 by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions (RNDM). The College houses approximately 1000 students of many different nationalities, and continues to grow.

The building designed by Frederick Romberg is used as an educational facility by Sacred Heart Girls’ School. Positioned on the corner of Warrigal Rd and Kangaroo Rd at one of Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Oakleigh. Completed in 1954, this building is a fine example of postmodern architectural style. The site was purchased from the Sacred Heart Parish (Oakleigh) in 1955, established the foundations of the girls' school which would open its doors to its 95 students in 1957.
