Vom Hauptbahnhof geht’s zuerst auf der rechten Seite über die Seebrücke zum Schwanenplatz. Dort startet der Quai Richtung Verkehrshaus der Schweiz. Am Anfang der Route ist viel Betrieb, es sind u.a. auch viele Touristen unterwegs. Die Abwechslung ist gross, es wird nicht langweilig. Die Sicht auf Berge und den See ist phantastisch. Nach einigen paar Hundert Meter wird es ruhiger, die Spaziergänger sind unter sich. Unterwegs gibt es immer wieder sehr gepflegte Pärke zum verweilen, mit diversen schönen Kunstdenkmäler. Beim Verkehrshaus kann man diverse Museen besuchen, je nach Zeit und Interesse. Bei der Seeburg lohnt sich bei schönem Wetter eine Rast bei der Sunset-Bar. Danach geht’s zu Fuss oder per ÖV zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.
