The Alarm (Indian Alarm) is a Bronze statue by John J. Boyle located in Lincoln Park, Chicago.It was commissioned in 1880, and dedicated on May 17, 1884.On the base are four incised granite tablets with scenes of Ottawa life: "The Peace Pipe," "The Corn Dance," "Forestry," and "The Hunt."

Lincoln Park is a 1,208-acre (489-hectare) park situated along Lake Michigan on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. Named after US President Abraham Lincoln, it is the city's largest public park and stretches for seven miles (11 km) from Grand Avenue (500 N) on the south to near Ardmore Avenue (5800 N) on the north, just north of the Lake Shore Drive terminus at Hollywood Avenue.

In 2018, Federal authorities announced they were pulling funding from the hospital under investigation following numerous allegations of sexual abuse, assault and patient safety violations.

Bike the Drive or Fifth Third Bike the Drive is a recreational, non-competitive bicycle ride held each year in Chicago. Lake Shore Drive is cleared of motor vehicle traffic and opened exclusively to bicyclists for several hours beginning at dawn. The event benefits bicycling advocacy work in the region by the Active Transportation Alliance, formerly known as the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation.

Galleries Maurice Sternberg is Chicago's oldest continually operating art gallery, founded in 1945.The gallery was founded by Maurice Sternberg and Judith Sternberg in the arcade of the Drake Hotel. In its early days, the gallery became known for exhibiting the work American and European artists including Antoine Blanchard, Edouard Cortes and Alexander Calder.

Kwanusila is a 12.2 meter (40 foot) tall totem pole carved from red cedar. It stands in Lincoln Park at Addison Street just east of Lake Shore Drive in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The colorfully painted totems include a grimacing sea monster at the bottom, a man riding a whale above it, and Kwanusila the Thunderbird on top.

Temple Sholom (formally Temple Sholom of Chicago) is a Reform Jewish congregation located at 3480 N. Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1867, it is one of the oldest and largest synagogues in Chicago with over 1,100 Member Families

Immaculata High School was an all-girls Catholic high school located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It was open from 1921 to 1981.The building was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1977.The campus buildings received Chicago Landmark status on July 27, 1983.

American Islamic College (AIC) is a private, not-for-profit Islamic institution of higher education in Chicago that accepts students from all backgrounds. According to its webpage, AIC is designed especially to prepare students for "leadership and policy making roles in American society; and for management and staff of American Muslim institutions, and; serving as a resource to American institutions and individuals for learning about Islam." As of 2017, enrolling fewer than 50 students, AIC offers bachelor's and master's degrees in Islamic Studies and master's of Islamic divinity.
