Yanjiang Road

The Canton Tower (Chinese: 广州塔), formally Guangzhou TV Astronomical and Sightseeing Tower (Chinese: 广州电视台天文及观光塔), is a 604 metres (1,982 ft) tall multi-purpose observation tower in the Haizhu District of the city of Guangzhou (historically known as Canton). The tower was topped out in 2009 and it became operational on 29 September 2010 for the 2010 Asian Games.

Canton Tower Station (Chinese: 广州塔站) is an interchange station on Line 3 and Zhujiang New Town Automated People Mover Systems of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2005. It is an underground station located to the south of Binjiang Road East in Haizhu District, on the south bank of the Pearl River.

The Capture of the French Folly Fort by British forces in China occurred on 6 November 1856 during the Second Opium War. The British dispersed 23 Chinese war junks and captured the French Folly fort in the Pearl River near the city of Canton (Guangzhou) in Guangdong province. The battle lasted nearly an hour.

Haiyin Bridge (simplified Chinese: 海印大桥; traditional Chinese: 海印大橋; pinyin: Hǎiyìn dàqiáo) is a bridge crossing the Pearl River in Guangzhou, China.The double tower single plane cable stayed bridge was completed in 1988 and connects Haizhu District with Yuexiu District.

Haixinsha Station (Chinese: 海心沙站; pinyin: Hǎixīnshā Zhàn; Jyutping: hoi2sam1saa1 zaam6) is a metro station of the Guangzhou Metro APM line. It is located at the underground of Haixinsha Island, venue of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games. It started operation on 24 February 2011, three months after the games ended.

Liede Bridge (Chinese: 猎德大桥) is a bridge crossing over the Pearl River in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The 4.3 kilometres (2.7 mi) bridge connects Pazhou Island in Haizhu District with Tianhe District and opened in 2009.
