Clayhall is a district in the London Borough of Redbridge in northeast London, England. It is a suburban development. The name is derived from an old manor house that stood within the current area. It is first mentioned in a document of 1203 as being an area of land granted to Adam and Matilda de la Claie by Richard de la Claie.

It is named for the roundabout at the northern end of the A123 Barkingside High Street, itself named after Adam Fulwell who leased a farm in the area from Barking Abbey.

It was opened in 1993 by its first headmaster, Mr Alastair Falk.In March 2007, it was announced that Spencer Lewis would be appointed the new headteacher of the school, replacing the previous headmaster, Rabbi James Kennard.

Ilford County High School (often abbreviated to ICHS) is a selective secondary grammar school for boys located in the town of Barkingside of the London Borough of Redbridge. It was formerly called Park High Grade School and as a result old boys are referred to as Old Parkonians.ICHS is a four-form entry school, each form comprising up to 30 pupils.

Waltham Holy Cross was an urban district, north east of central London. The area now forms part of the Epping Forest District. The district of the board included the town of Waltham Abbey as well as neighbouring hamlets including Sewardstone and High Beech, which make up some of the present Waltham Abbey parish.

St Cedd's Church, Barkingside, St Cedd's Church, Ilford or St Cedd's Church, Marston Road is a Church of England parish church in the Barkingside district of Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge, dedicated to Cedd, bishop of Essex, in which Ilford historically fell. In 1938 a temporary church was built and a conventional district set up using parts of the parishes of Holy Trinity, Barkingside and Holy Trinity, South Woodford.
