The South Seberang Perai District (Malay: Daerah Seberang Perai Selatan, abbreviation as “SPS”) is a district in Penang, Malaysia. It covers an area of 242 square kilometres, and had a population of 162,905 at the 2010 Census. The district is bordered by Junjong River that separates Central Seberang Perai in the north, Kedah state border in the east, Perak state border in the south and the South Channel that separates Penang Island.

Design Village is an outlet mall in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia. Opened in 2016, it is Malaysia's biggest outlet mall, spanning a built-up area of 37,161 m2 (400,000 sq ft). Design Village is reportedly built on a 24-acre tropical garden. At the time of its opening in November 2016, the mall was nearly 70% filled with tenants.

Val d'Or is a town in South Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. The mainly agricultural town is located between Simpang Ampat to the north and Sungai Bakap to the south, both of which are also within the South Seberang Perai District.Jalan Valdor serves as the main thoroughfare within the town, with the southern end of the road connecting with Federal Route 1, which runs the length of western Peninsular Malaysia.

Penang State Stadium (Malay: Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang) is a multi-purpose stadium in Batu Kawan, South Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 40,000 people. It was built in 2000. The stadium has been built to host the 8th Sukma Games (Malaysian Games) in 2000.
