The American Independence Museum is a historic house museum located in Exeter, New Hampshire. Its 1-acre (0.40 ha) campus includes two buildings: the Ladd-Gilman House, a registered National Historic Landmark built in 1721 by Nathaniel Ladd, and the Folsom Tavern, built in 1775 by Colonel Samuel Folsom.

The Dudley House, also known as the Perry-Dudley House, is a historic house at 14 Front Street in Exeter, New Hampshire. Built about 1805, it is a prominent local example of Federal architecture, further notable for its occupation by two of the town's leading 19th-century doctors. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The Deacon Samuel and Jabez Lane Homestead is a historic farmstead at 132 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, New Hampshire. Built in 1807, the main house is a fine local example of Federal period architecture, with carvings executed by a regional master craftsman. The property is further significant because the owners at the time of its construction kept detailed journals documenting the construction of it and other buildings on the property.

The Bartlett-Cushman House is a historic house at 82 Portsmouth Road (New Hampshire Route 33) in Stratham, New Hampshire. Built about 1810, it is one of the town's best examples of Federal-style architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Scaman Farm is a historic farmstead at Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, New Hampshire. The farm was established by members of the Scamman family in the 1660s, and includes a barn dating to the mid-18th century and a Greek Revival farmhouse dating to 1836. The barn is believed to be one of the oldest in the state.

Emery Farm is a historic farm property at 16 Emery Lane in Stratham, New Hampshire. The farmhouse, built about 1740, is a fine example of period architecture, with later 19th century stylistic alterations. The property is notable as one of New Hampshire's first market garden farms, a practice adopted by John Emery in 1855.

Exeter is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village in the town of Exeter in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population of the CDP was 9,242 at the 2010 census, out of 14,306 people in the entire town of Exeter.
