Eaton Socon is a district of St Neots in Cambridgeshire, England. It was originally a village in Bedfordshire, along with the neighbouring village of Eaton Ford, but officially became part of the town in 1965. Eaton Socon changed relatively little until this time, but on its inclusion into Huntingdonshire, and later Cambridgeshire, a significant amount of development took place to the west of the village into the 1980s, with areas covering Monarch Road and the upper end of Nelson Road being developed in a particularly short space of time.

Eaton Socon was a rural district in Bedfordshire, England from 1894 to 1934.It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from that part of the St. Neots rural sanitary district which was in Bedfordshire (the rest forming St. Neots Rural District in Huntingdonshire). It consisted of the parishes of Dean, Eaton Socon, Little Barford, Little Staughton, Pertenhall, Shelton and Swineshead, which consisted of a thin strip of land to the north of the Bedford Rural District.
