Cowie Hill is a subdivision of Mainland Halifax in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The hill on which it is situated was originally called "Cowie's Hill", named after one of the original owners of the land, Robert Cowie. Cowie was a British merchant, who was granted the land in 1752 by Governor Edward Cornwallis.

Melville Cove is a residential subdivision in Armdale on Mainland Halifax within the Halifax Regional Municipality Nova Scotia on the shore of the Northwest Arm in Halifax Harbour .

The North West Arm Drive was a 4-lane divided highway that runs entirely in Halifax in the Halifax Regional Municipality connecting Nova Scotia Highway 102 in Clayton Park to Nova Scotia Route 306 (Old Sambro Rd) in Spryfield. It was renamed to Dunbrack Street on April 29, 2019 by the Halifax Regional Municipality.
