Trail on the banks of the Vltava

Barrandov Terraces (Czech: Barrandovské terasy) is a complex of buildings in the southern part of Prague, Czech Republic. It is dominated by the functional view restaurant Terraces (Czech: Terasy) designed by architect Max Urban (1927-31). Barrandov Terraces are a part of the project of Václav M. Havel for the construction of a neighbourhood on the slope of the Habrová hill.

Braník (sometimes inaccurately called Bráník) is a district in Prague located in the south of the city, on the east bank of the Vltava. It used to be known for its brewery, but the brewery is now out of business as it ceased operations in 2002. Braník borders with Malá Chuchle and Hlubočepy in the west, Podolí in the north, Krč in the east and Lhotka and Hodkovičky in the south.

Braník Bridge (Czech: Branický most), also known as the Bridge of the Intelligentsia (Czech: most Inteligence) is a reinforced-concrete rail bridge with a pedestrian path in Prague, Czech Republic, crossing the Vltava river from Malá Chuchle to the border of Braník and Hodkovičky. The bridge is 910 metres long and 14 metres wide.

The Convent of Saint George was a convent of Benedictine nuns located in Prague Castle in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) between 973 and 1782. Founded in 973, the convent was next to the seat of ecclesiastical and state power in Bohemia and occasionally the entire Holy Roman Empire, and played an important historical role.
