Pajštún

Pajštún Castle or Pajštún (Slovak: Pajštúnsky hrad, German: Peilenstein) is a ruined medieval castle in the municipality of Borinka in the Bratislava region of Slovakia. It is located on the western edge of the Little Carpathians at an altitude of 486 m. Because of its proximity to Bratislava, the castle is a popular hiking destination for the city's inhabitants.

Borinka is a village and municipality in western Slovakia in Malacky District in the Bratislava Region, at the foothills of the Little Carpathians, best known for the Pajštún Castle, but it is also area with a lots of week-end houses (Slovak: chata). Village is around 5 km east of Stupava and around 15 km north of Bratislava.

Pod Pajštúnom is a nature reserve in the Slovak municipalities of Stupava and Borinka in the Malacky District. The nature reserve covers an area of 141 hectares (350 acres) of forests in the Little Carpathians. It has a protection level of 5 under the Slovak nature protection system. The nature reserve is part of the Little Carpathians Protected Landscape Area.

Stupava (German: Stampfen; Hungarian: Stomfa) is a town in western Slovakia. It is situated in the Malacky District, Bratislava Region.
