Aberdeen (listen) is an area and town on southwest Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District. While the name "Aberdeen" could be taken in a broad sense to encompass the areas of Aberdeen (town), Wong Chuk Hang, Ap Lei Chau, Tin Wan, Wah Kwai Estate and Wah Fu Estate, it is more often used to refer to the town only.

Sir John Francis Davis, 1st Baronet KCB (Chinese: 戴維斯; Sidney Lau: Daai3 Wai4 Si1) (16 July 1795 – 13 November 1890) was a British diplomat and sinologist who served as second Governor of Hong Kong from 1844 to 1848. Davis was the first President of Royal Asiatic Society Hong Kong.

Centennial College (Chinese: 明德學院) is a private degree-granting institute in Pokfulam, Hong Kong. The College was established by the University of Hong Kong as its second private subsidiary after the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE). At present, the College is recognised as an Approved Post Secondary College under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap 320).

Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired (Chinese: 心光盲人院暨學校) is a school for blind and visually disabled children in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong.A German missionary, Martha Postler, created the school in 1897. The school's first location was in Western District. Postler, who originated from the Hildesheimer Blindenmission, created the school as she took care of four girls who experienced visual impairment.

Victoria Road (Chinese: 域多利道; Cantonese Yale: wik6 do1 lei6 dou6) is a main road near the west shore of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong connecting Kennedy Town and Wah Fu and an alternative connection of Pok Fu Lam Road. It begins north with Belcher's Street in Kennedy Town and goes along Mount Davis, Sandy Bay, Telegraph Bay and Waterfall Bay and reaches in Kellett Bay.

Sassoon Road (Chinese: 沙宣道; Cantonese Yale: sa1 syun1 dou6) is a road in Sandy Bay and Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is named after Sir Victor Sassoon.The area is associated with affluence and wealth. Many of Hong Kong's wealthy live in this area, including Henry Fok (house nicknamed 'Fok Villas').
