The HSBC Building (also known as the Municipal Government Building) is a six-floor neo-classical building in the Bund area of Shanghai, China. It served as the headquarters of the Shanghai branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from 1923 to 1955, and currently houses the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

East Nanjing Road (simplified Chinese: 南京东路; traditional Chinese: 南京東路; pinyin: Nánjīng Dōng Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 2 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. The Japanese Empire occupied Taiwan in 1895, and in 1899 founded the Bank of Taiwan to promote trade between Taiwan, the Japanese Empire, and the rest of Asia. The bank then began opening offices outside of Taiwan in order to facilitate inter-regional trade.

The Gutzlaff Signal Tower, also known as the Bund Weather Tower or the Bund Signal Tower (外滩信号台), is a major landmark in Shanghai's Bund. El Willy is a Spanish restaurant in Shanghai, China. It opened in January 2008 and is operated by chef Willy Trullas Moreno, who is from Spain. The restaurant relocated from a colonial house in Shanghai's French concession to a space in The Bund in 2012.

HMS Peterel was a river gunboat built by Yarrow Shipbuilders at Scotstoun and she was the sixth Royal Navy to carry the name. Her name differed from the accepted modern day spelling for Petrel as per the bird as it reprised the name of the original ship to bear the name (in the eighteenth century "Peterel" had been an accepted alternative spelling).
